A DOG CALLED KIM. Stories by Joy MacDonald. Illustrations by D. Watkins-Pitchford.
(c1983) ND later reprint. 8vo stapled paperback (150 x 209mm). Pp27. B/w illustrations by D.J. Watkins-Pitchford. White card covers titled and illustrated in black.
"These stories are founded on fact. Kim lived in Colinton, Edinburgh, with the MacDonalds and grew up with their three children. He was born in September 1964 and died in January 1979. The stories were originally broadcast on Radio Manchester." A scarce and unusual "BB" item. The first edition was undated but probably printed around 1983. This printing is also undated but seems several years later than that. The only changes are that the first edition was bound in white card covers, this printing is bound in buff covers, this printing has an errata list printed on the title-page verso and the publisher's imprint is found in this printing at the foot of the rear cover whereas in the first edition it is found at the foot of the rear end-paper.
