Each section contains an introductory essay plus further thumb-nail sketches of rivers, lakes and stretches of coast frm an angler's point of view. Comments on and recommendations for venues will often still be relevant whilst the gazeteer indexes all the 4,000 or so venues to a sixteen-page road atlas which names each individual lake / river / stretch of coastline detailed in the text.
