Illustrated with an engraved pictorial half-title (between the half-title and the title-page, but not facing the title-page as a frontispiece) on Japanese vellum with a tissue guard. (This is the same image as that used for the cover of the 1s. edition), chapter head decorations. Title-page printed in red and black. Early rebind.

A contemporary advertisement says "A Large Paper Edition of which only 100 copies have been printed on hand-made paper, parchment binding (100 only printed), price 5s." There is no limitation statement in the book.
