A photographic account of Charles Bingham's life amongst the rivers and streams of the West Country and the chalkstreams in pursuit of trout, salmon and sea-trout. Privately published by the author, together with his daughter, Lara, in a limited edition of only 300 copies. Only 200 of these have been offered for sale, the remaining 100 copies being for private distribution by the author. "My ten published gamefishing and story books have each displayed many photographs, and articles too featured illustrations. My country and waterside years, with rod and camera, resulted in a selected print and transparency archive of many hundreds of photographs of wildlife, fish, rivers, lakes and people. It seemed to me a waste that this photographic archive should be stored, dust-laden, in some attic as the work of Grandpa Bingham... So, my daughter Lara, companion of days and nights beside, in or on rivers offered to publish this collection."
