ANGLING: SINGLE AND DOUBLE-HANDED CAST. By R.D. Hughes.
A flicker-book. Two-way monochrome flicker photographic sequence. 54mm x 74mm. Single staple.
A small format flicker-book illustrating, in one direction, the single-handed cast with a flyrod, and in the other direction, the double-handed cast. A series of at least thirty-five of these books were published in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Most were on sporting subjects such as golf and tennis, some were on natural history subjects such as eagles in flight, frogs jumping, etc. As far as I know this was the only one relating to angling. All are extremely scarce.
