Dressing Classic Atlantic Salmon Flies can be a life-long journey for an enthusiastic fly dresser. Owing to their unique styles, rare and colourful materials, and ultimate techniques to dress them on japanned blind-eye hooks, interests and challenges will never end. Among all the classic patterns, a series of flies designed by Major John Popkin Traherne (1826-1901) stands out. However, it is not quite clear how many patterns Major Traherne designed. This book records Satoshi's quest to find Traherne patterns from classic and current literature, and his passion to dress and present them all together in the same place.
