In 2009 I released my first book called Carping Mad! The idea of the book was to be a fishing book but with a difference. One to take a bit of a humurous look at fishing and my life in general. There were a few crazy stories in there and the odd rude one too, hence the 17 age cert rating on it. Life and fishing are supposed to be fun, people take both far to seriously for my liking and all I wanted to achieve with the book, was to make people smile and maybe think, "I can relate to that!" This is Spug Redfern's second carp fishing book (There is no Carping Mad2). Carping in the UK, France and Thailand, and trips with the Iron Maiden fan club.
