Illustrated with chapter head decorations and a few text engravings, especially in the advertisements. Very pale green pictorial card covers, printed in black.

A series of lyrical letters describing the author's vacations "away from the endless worrits and entanglements" of life and business. He describes holidays in Folkestone; Tenby and Pembroke in South Wales; coarse fishing on the Wye and grayling on the Itchen; a review of Andrew Lang's Angling Sketches, and some discussion of Walton. This issue, dated 1892 (as are the other issues of this book), lacks the photograph plates of the other issues.
