1935 1st edition. Small 8vo (125 x 188mm). Ppviii,91 + 1pp ad. Line drawings. Blue-green cloth, spine-title and upper board vignette printed in blue.
With a Preface by Moray Mclaren. "Mainly on trout fishing in Scottish burns. The flyfishing section is not so good as the section on fishing with grubs and insects". (Hampton). "Without doubt Mr. Castle is a very skilful angler and his book contains a great many useful hints and tips, but his ideas on nymph fishing are distinctly misleading". (The Fishing Gazette, April 6th, 1935). This book was later revised and enlarged and published as "Angling Secrets". A common enough book but becoming harder to find in a dust-wrapper.
