This edition is undated and the ISBN does not by itsself yield any information about this edition. This copy contains a library stamp dated 1982, presumably very close to the actual year of publication. This is a detailed and scholarly discussion of Welsh toponymy. This first volume deals with names possessing the following suffixes; -ach, -ad, -ai, -an, -ell, -en, -i, -iad, -ig, -in, -o, io. Volume II was intended to deal more widely with the subject and to contain a chapter of amendments to this first volume, based on discoveries made after this book's publication.
