An extensive humorous dictionary (which is actually quite funny) illustrated with apposite cartoons. Despite being first published in America, this book does not come over as particularly American, and frequently talks about Britain and Europe. The publishers bill the book as being 'revised'. Comparing this text with that of the first edition would be an instructive exercise.
