FISHING WAYS AND WILES. By Major H.E. Morritt.

Instructional but with some nice anecdotes, a couple of them about fishing close to the front line in France in 1918. "This is a book on fishing for trout, salmon and sea-trout in the British Isles and Norway". "It is a book of charm. It is a book of wisdom. I think it would be impossible for any fisherman to read it without increasing both his enjoyment of fishing and his skill". (Arthur Ransome in the publisher's blurb). The author gained his experience on the Durham Tees, and on the Dee and Dyfi in Wales.
