FLY DRESSER: THE JOURNAL OF THE FLYDRESSERS GUILD. Autumn 1999.
Autumn 1999. A5 booklet (148 x 209mm). Pp48. Colour plate of flies, colour and b/w photographs and illustrations.
Until the end of 1986 this was published six times a year as the F.D.G. newsletter, since then it has been published quarterly as "Flydresser". The subtitle changed several times over the years however for the sake of simplicity and order we have catalogued all of our copies with the original subtitle. A great source of new patterns and information with good articles by many well-known names. Contents of this issue, aside from the regular reviews, branch news and editorials, include:- Wood for the trees by Paul Little; Letters; Product news; CDC hopper by Micky Bewick; Dunkeld, and invictas by Keith Whitehead; Baigent hackle colours by 'T.G.'; Turle knot by Doug Lock; Lady Ethna by John Wilshaw; Piam nymphs by John Roberts; Editorial; Competition results; Coarse flytying by Ruard Janssen.
