"...With particular reference to Dry-fly and Nymph fishing and giving a list of flies and their dressings". Tipped-in is a typed note saying, "The contents of this booklet appeared originally in a series of articles contributed by the author to the Fly-fisher's Journal. On the suggestion of some members of the Flyfishers Club they were collected to form this booklet. A limited number were printed and were distributed by the author to members who were keen on fly-tying and to his friends who were also keen fly-fishers and fly-dressers." It is believed that approximately 24 copies were printed. Minor corrections (in author's hand?) in ink.
