The British Ichthyological Society was founded in 1962 and foundered not long afterwards. David W. Park was the society's Correspondence Course Officer. This is a good basic mimeographed ID guide. The author is the same David W. Park (of Crowborough, Sussex) that wrote "Angling Vagabond: A Glorious Boyhood" many years later in 2007.
