GROUSE SHOOTING MADE QUITE EASY. By Jeffrey Gorcock (Joseph Crawhall).

(1827) 1998 2nd edition. 4to (232 x 297mm). Two coloured plates, b/w illustrations by the author. Quarter-bound in maroon buckram over paper-covered boards, grouse motif in gilt to upper board, spine titled in gilt. Edition limited to 300 numbered copies.

The grandfather of famous sporting artist, Joseph Crawhall III, the author printed the first edition on his own press in 1827.
