Jim Vincent was employed as a keeper to develop and improve Hickling Broad as wildfowl habitat and to improve the shooting on the estate. The results of his efforts can still be seen in the world-famous wildlife reserve. Stewart Linsell was warden of the reserve from 1975 to 1987. He talks principally of the bird-life of the reserve, but also tells the tales of the famous coot shoots of the 1930s, and of royal shooting parties.
