# A collection of Honore Daumier's caricature illustrations on fishing and hunting. The book begins with an extensive preface by Paul Vialar giving a background to Daumier's life and work. This is followed by forty eight of Daumier's illustrations, full-page, with captions in French. After the plates Jacqueline Armingeat gives translations of the captions and notes, generally two or three paragraphs, to each plate. Translated from the French by Howard Brabyn.
