Denys Watkins-Pitchford, 'BB', explores Wales in three journeys going from West to East. His first journey began at Ross-on-Wye, then to St David's via Brecon and Carmarthen and back to Abergavenny via Cardigan and Rhayader. The second journey went from Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury to Ffestiniog via Dolgellau and Barmouth with a detour to Lake Vyrnwy on the way. The third journey started at Whittington, heading for Caernarvon via Betws-y-Coed with a detour to Denbigh and Rhuddlan. A highly readable account which also takes in some of the ground covered by George Borrow. With great illustrations as you would expect.
