Cooper (a frontispiece of a grayling, and another plate of a trout), and with text engravings, some full-page. Green cloth, gilt spine title, light green end-papers. Second issue. The title-page carries the date 1892, and the London publisher is termed "Sampson Low, Marston and Co. (Limited).
An angler's dictionary, from 'air-bladder' to 'worm scouring,' nicely illustrated with vignette engravings. Includes sections on salmon and trout flies, with many dressings. Allcocks supplied the tackle described (and, presumably, the engravings); W.J. Cummins supplied details of the English and "Scotch" trout flies; while those for Ireland were supplied by Thomas Gerrard. The author signs his Preface as Richard Niven, Chrome Hill, Lisburn.
