A useful and extensive catalogue of books published by Horace Cox at "The Field", dated 1888, is bound-in at the rear. 'He was a son of Capt. Morgan, R.N., but changed his name after reaching his majority because of the property he had inherited from his grandfather. He was trained as a civil engineer but gave it up for literature. For more than a quarter century he was angling editor of The Field.' Hampton.
