Hutton was a pioneer of motoring and motor racing, an agent for the maufacturers of luxury motor cars, an electrical engineer and a very successful businessman. In 1938 he emigrated to America and much of his later experience was on the Miramichee and other East Coast American rivers. This (UK) edition states "First published 1950", but this book was actually first published in 1949 by Little, Brown and Co., Boston.
