"The flies presented in this volume were reproduced direct at the Menpes Press under the supervision of Mr. Mortimor Menpes." There were minor changes incorporated to the 3rd edition (1908), introducing a new frontispiece, a new Preface, and some of W.C. Stewart's flies were then incorporated into the book of flies.
